What Buyers Can Expect from SBX Inc.

Looking for Austin Businesses for Sale?

Registering with SBX, Inc. is your first step in the right direction
  • We will welcome you to our offices to chat about your plans to buy a business:
How can you exploit your background?
What businesses are within your price range?
How much do you plan to pay as a down payment?
How do you plan to finance?
What kind of business do you have in mind?
    What location do you prefer?
Do you prefer the current owner to provide training?
What role do you prefer?  Manager?   Investor?
Are you seeking a partner?  Investor?
These are only a sampling of the issues you need to address.
  • Once we’ve determined your criteria, we will register you in our database and keep you informed of any businesses we list that we believe fit your requirements.
  • We will also provide a leaflet for each of the businesses we’ve already listed that might interest you.
  • If you find one of our listings that you believe might satisfy these requirements, we’ll ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement so that we may provide greater detail:  preliminary financials and an abbreviated history of the business.
  • If you are still interested, we will arrange to meet you at the business for a showing and/or meeting with the seller.
  • After you’ve viewed the business and received more details but are NOT interested, we will ask you to provide feedback – this not only helps us to narrow our search for you but is valuable information for our selling client.
  • Assuming you like what you see, we’ll encourage you to make an offer.  If you have concerns that prevent you from moving forward – we’ll encourage you to make an offer with contingent terms that reflect those concerns. We will also ask you to make an earnest payment into our escrow account.  If negotiations fail, you immediately receive these funds.  Otherwise, the earnest money will go towards the purchase of the business at closing.
  • At this point, we will begin the negotiation process.  Although we represent the seller, we are intermediaries whose goal is to see both buyer and seller reach an agreement.
  • If you reach an agreement with the seller, we will then schedule a closing date with our attorney.
